Cookie Policy

What cookies we use, why, and how you can control them.

Effective: April 14, 2026Last updated: April 14, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Frost Software LLC ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Elevion website and application. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies like localStorage, session storage, and pixels. Below, "cookies" refers to all of these.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the Service to work. They cannot be disabled.

  • ELEVION_SID — your authenticated session identifier. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=None (so you can stay signed in across tabs). Expires in 30 days.
  • emailVerified (localStorage) — used to notify your signup tab when you click the email verification link in a different tab. Cleared automatically.
  • elevion_realtime_enabled — preference for whether realtime updates (dashboard auto-refresh) are on or off.

Functional

These cookies remember your preferences and improve your experience.

  • UI preference storage for theme, active dashboard tab, and onboarding step. Stored as localStorage, not sent with HTTP requests.

Analytics / performance

We currently do not use third-party analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel on the app). We may add privacy-respecting analytics (e.g., Plausible or PostHog in cookie-less mode) in the future and will update this policy accordingly with a banner and opt-in where required.

Marketing / advertising

We do not use advertising cookies or sell user data to advertisers.

Payment processors

When you check out, our payment processors (Mollie, PayPal) may set their own cookies to process the transaction and prevent fraud. These are governed by their own privacy/cookie policies:

Your choices

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly-necessary cookies will break the Service (you will not be able to sign in). For California residents, you can exercise your CCPA rights by contacting privacy@elevion.cc. For EEA/UK users, our cookie use is based on your consent for non-essential categories — you can withdraw consent at any time via your browser.

Do Not Track

Our Service does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, since there is no industry consensus on how to interpret them. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for California residents as an opt-out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share personal information regardless).

Updates to this policy

If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the application or by email.
